1. Purpose
This disclosure summarises how NXI Pay (Paytech Solutions Limited, trading as NXI, NXIPay, or NXI Pay) supports payment acceptance for business customers, and how responsibilities are shared between you (the Merchant), NXI Pay, and our payment partners.
2. Parties and Roles
- You (Merchant): you sell goods and services to your customers and are responsible for your business, products, customer support, and compliance.
- NXI Pay: provides payment orchestration and connectivity and operational support for your payment acceptance.
- Payment Partners: acquirers, processors, gateways, alternative payment method (APM) providers, fraud tools, and compliance providers that may process transactions and/or settle funds.
3. Processing, Settlement and Reserves
- Processing and settlement are typically provided by payment partners under their own terms (including underwriting and risk policies).
- Settlement timing, payout schedules, minimum settlement thresholds, and rolling reserves (if any) are defined in your commercial schedule and/or partner terms.
- We may be required to delay, hold, or reverse payouts where required by law, scheme rules, partner risk decisions, or to resolve chargebacks, refunds, or disputes.
4. Chargebacks, Refunds and Disputes
- You are responsible for your refund policy, customer communications, and providing evidence for disputes.
- Chargeback outcomes, timeframes, and fees are governed by card scheme rules and the relevant acquirer or processor terms.
- Where optional chargeback protection or fraud tools are enabled, coverage and exclusions are defined by the relevant provider's programme rules.
5. Data and Privacy
- NXI Pay primarily collects and processes business information (company details, business contacts, settlement details, and technical logs).
- End-customer personal data, where applicable, is typically processed by you and/or payment partners under their own privacy notices and contractual terms.
- You are responsible for providing appropriate end-customer disclosures and terms for your checkout and payment flow.
6. Merchant Obligations
- Provide accurate onboarding and KYB information and keep it current.
- Comply with applicable laws, scheme rules, and partner restrictions (including prohibited categories).
- Maintain secure access controls for any NXI Pay dashboards and APIs and protect credentials.
- Promptly notify NXI Pay of suspected fraud, compromise, or incidents affecting payment processing.
